The average keyword position declined from 21.3 to 22.7 in February, with 20 keywords moving up and 19 remaining stable. Currently, the site has 21 keywords in the Top 3 and 12 keywords in the Top 10

We secured 4 high-quality backlinks from reputable sources and published 6 new blog posts and 1 detailed guide targeting high-volume keywords. In addition, 10 location pages were added to expand our local SEO presence.

When comparing the Ahrefs stats for February to those of January, we can see that the Domain Rating (DR) has increased from 26 to 28. Organic traffic has significantly increased from 1K to 2K. The number of organic keywords increased from 525 to 581 in February.

This significant growth in traffic, domain rating, and organic keywords is the result of consistent, research-driven SEO efforts, including strategic blog content, optimized location pages, ongoing backlink acquisition, and continuous overall optimization.

Another positive addition is the AI citations performance. 

We can see that Daniel Lay’s website is being cited, referenced, or mentioned by major AI tools that generate web-based answers. Mentions in Google AI Overview were 68; similarly, Perplexity, Gemini, and Copilot citations were 28, 10, and 3 last month, reflecting stronger visibility and content authority across these platforms. ChatGPT continues to lead with the highest number of total mentions (152). 

Overall, the data highlights expanding reach across multiple AI tools, especially within Google’s ecosystem, signalling improved credibility and topical relevance of the website’s content.

Over the past few months, the website has demonstrated strong overall performance, with a significant increase in clicks in February 2026.

In January, clicks increased from 2.16K to 2.76K (27.78%), while impressions declined slightly from 549K to 423K (22.95%). In February, clicks further increased from 2.76K to 4.15K (50.36%), and impressions grew substantially from 423K to 954K (125.53%).

Overall, the data reflects positive momentum, and we expect traffic to continue strengthening in the coming months.
